Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Support Assistant to join our Specialist Hub Learning Support team at Unity Schools Partnership. As a Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and personal care of children with complex learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support to students with complex learning needs, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning plans.
  • Assist with the implementation of behavior management strategies and provide positive reinforcement techniques.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social skills and emotional well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless support and progress.

Requirements

  • GCSE Grade C or equivalent in Maths and English.
  • Previous experience working with children with additional needs, although training can be provided.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating a positive attitude and a commitment to the Langer core values.
