Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with key customer stakeholders across various functions (e.g., purchasing, category management, supply chain).
  • Formulate and agree on joint business plans that align Karo's and customer objectives (monitoring and managing existing plans).
  • Enhance distribution and visibility for the Karo product range in a competitive marketplace.
  • Secure targeted distribution for new product innovations.
  • Plan, execute, and assess promotional activities to ensure optimal return on investment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to sustain the Karo prescription medicine business (if applicable).
  • Drive the achievement of Karo's annual profit and loss targets, from net sales to gross profit.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and other standards as stipulated by Karo.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in FMCG Account Management.
  • Proven sales and negotiation experience within the FMCG sector.
  • Understanding of consumer goods profit and loss statements and their influencing factors.
  • Knowledge of category analysis and key drivers within the category.
  • Familiarity with supply chain dynamics.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Experience in the Health and Beauty Care industry.

Preferred:

  • Advanced Excel skills.
