Position Overview

We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as General Hotel Services Support Staff. This role involves working on weekends, specifically Friday through Sunday, with additional compensation for hours worked during weekends and public holidays.

As a member of our committed team, you will play a crucial role in delivering essential services across our facilities, ensuring a seamless operation throughout the week.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping Duties

- Perform thorough cleaning of all hospital areas, including patient rooms, restrooms, communal spaces, and administrative offices.

Portering Responsibilities

- Efficiently manage the sorting, packing, and delivery of meals and catering supplies to various departments, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and regulations.

- Facilitate the collection and distribution of mail, laundry, and medical supplies across different units.

Catering Functions

- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, including breakfast items and light snacks, while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.

Additional Duties

- Handle waste disposal and engage in periodic cleaning tasks, such as carpet maintenance and changing curtains.

Required Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Experience in cleaning within a healthcare or social care environment.
