Job Title: Business Development Executive

Join our team at Nicholl Oil Group as a Business Development Executive, where you will play a key role in driving commercial growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of existing commercial customers, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Generate new business leads through lead generation, networking, and prospecting, ensuring a strong pipeline of potential customers.
  • Conduct market research to understand competitor pricing strategies, ensuring our business remains competitive in the sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, processing orders, and recording and updating records and data.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department on promotional and general marketing activities, ensuring a cohesive brand message.
  • Provide regular sales activity reports and forecasts to the management team, ensuring informed business decisions.
  • Liaise with other departments, such as Commercial, Credit Control, and Dispatch, to ensure commercial customer needs are met.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years' experience in sales and business development, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong commercial focus, with the ability to manage the sales process from lead generation to closing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Knowledge of CRM software, such as Microsoft Dynamics, is desirable.
Working Conditions:

This is a primarily office-based role, with occasional visits to customers' premises. The working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary is negotiable depending on experience, with a performance-related bonus.
