Turner & Townsend is seeking experienced Senior Cost Managers and Senior Quantity Surveyors to contribute to our thriving UK Infrastructure business. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients and fostering a prosperous society.

In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the future of transportation and utilities infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
  • Cultivate strong professional relationships with clients and colleagues across various project stages.
  • Effectively administer contracts to ensure alignment with project objectives and contractual agreements.
  • Maintain meticulous oversight of project costs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budget parameters.
  • Manage contract cash flow and diligently monitor cost variances, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with client and contractor teams, fostering open communication and shared understanding.
  • Lead project deliverables and objectives, driving successful project execution and completion.
  • Provide expert commercial knowledge and support to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Negotiate final accounts with precision and fairness, ensuring mutually agreeable outcomes.
  • As required, lead teams and commissions, effectively managing resources and driving project success.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear and concise interaction with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven expertise in contract management, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and mitigating potential risks.
  • In-depth knowledge of cost management principles and practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Strong understanding of change management and control processes, effectively managing project scope adjustments.
  • Proficiency in valuation techniques, ensuring accurate assessment of project assets and liabilities.
  • Mastery of risk management methodologies, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Experience in procurement procedures, sourcing materials and services effectively and efficiently.
  • Skilled in estimating project costs, providing accurate and reliable cost projections.
  • Ability to generate comprehensive reports, communicating project status and financial performance clearly.
  • Proven leadership skills, effectively managing teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • A commitment to identifying efficiencies throughout the project lifecycle, optimizing resource utilization and cost savings.
  • Degree qualification in a relevant field, such as Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering.
