In the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be an integral part of the Major Projects team, contributing to significant construction and civil engineering initiatives at a prominent naval facility.

Assume comprehensive commercial oversight for substantial and intricate subcontract agreements related to ongoing construction activities, from the bidding phase through to final settlement.

Manage the commercial aspects of subcontractors, which includes processing payments, securing final account resolutions, and addressing any disputes through negotiation when necessary, while keeping track of these accounts against budget and schedule projections.

Ensure the prompt generation of accurate monthly cost/value reports for various work packages, along with reviewing outcomes and analyzing trends with project stakeholders.

Optimize cash flow by ensuring timely receipt and disbursement of payments, and be responsible for the prompt creation of payment applications in line with contractual stipulations.

Oversee change management and risk assessment processes within work packages, while supporting the broader project commercial team with necessary contract notifications.

Provide valuable commercial insights, including financial and contractual performance forecasts, to the management team, and assist in exceeding business objectives and project KPIs.

Possess strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office applications, especially Excel.

A valid driving license is required.
