Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join a prominent M&E contractor known for delivering large-scale Data Centre projects across the country. This organization is recognized as a market leader, consistently exceeding client expectations through the successful execution of high-profile projects.

Role Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will serve as an LV and HV Authorised Person, responsible for ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards and performing essential testing, inspection, and troubleshooting tasks. Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading project delivery encompassing construction, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and product support for LV/HV systems.
  • Executing installation, refurbishment, and maintenance of LV/HV electrical equipment.
  • Interpreting electrical schematics and documentation, conducting thorough electrical testing and fault diagnosis.
  • Coordinating site activities with engineers, subcontractors, and utility providers.
  • Ensuring quality assurance and quality control throughout project phases.
  • Overseeing testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Engaging with client teams, main contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Facilitating progress meetings with subcontractors and professional teams.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Experience in Data Centre or critical environment projects.
  • Proven track record in managing projects with a minimum budget of £2M.
  • A robust training program that pairs junior engineers with seasoned mentors.
