EVEREC is a leading company in the electric vehicle sector, specializing in the restoration of iconic cars and their conversion to electric vehicles. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and implementation of control systems for low-voltage and high-voltage applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Control Systems: Design and develop model-based software using Simulink to create efficient and reliable control systems for electric vehicles.
  • Implement and Optimize Testing Frameworks: Implement and optimize testing frameworks, including Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Model-in-the-Loop (MIL), to ensure control systems meet performance and reliability standards.
  • Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate control systems into electric powertrains and automotive chassis.
  • Perform Hands-on Testing and Troubleshooting: Perform hands-on testing and troubleshooting to ensure control systems meet performance and reliability standards.
  • Translate Complex Engineering Issues: Translate complex engineering issues into straightforward, effective solutions.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in the automotive sector, with a proven track record in the development and testing of control systems for electric vehicles.
  • Skills: Experience in ECU calibration for automotive applications, proficiency with CAN Bus tools, expertise in developing and correlating plant models, strong grasp of control theory, and familiarity with software version control and comprehensive documentation practices.
  • Authorization: Authorization to work in the UK.
