Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our team at EVEREC, specializing in the development and implementation of control systems for electric vehicles. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing model-based software using Simulink, implementing and optimizing testing frameworks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems into electric powertrains and automotive chassis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop model-based software using Simulink to ensure efficient and reliable control systems.
  • Implement and optimize testing frameworks, including Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Model-in-the-Loop (MIL), to validate control system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate control systems into electric powertrains and automotive chassis, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Perform hands-on testing and troubleshooting to ensure control systems meet performance and reliability standards.
  • Translate complex engineering issues into straightforward, effective solutions, driving innovation and improvement in our control systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the automotive sector, with a focus on electric vehicle control systems.
  • Proven experience in the development and testing of control systems for electric vehicles, with a strong understanding of control theory and its application in electric powertrains.
  • Authorization to work in the UK.
