We are a growing technology organisation based in Warwickshire, seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Finance to lead our financial operations.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced finance professional to lead our financial operations, driving financial planning, forecasting, and reporting. As Head of Finance, you will oversee all financial aspects of the business, taking full ownership of the financial strategy across our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement reliable financial systems and processes to support long-term growth.
  • Lead the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic reviews.
  • Provide regular financial analysis and insights to the senior leadership team.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
  • Conduct weekly, monthly, and annual financial reviews, making strategic recommendations to improve financial performance.
  • Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and high-quality work.
  • Lead the finance team in achieving key KPIs, such as managing aged debtors, controlling costs, and meeting long-term financial goals.
  • Work closely with the senior management team, providing financial insights to support business decisions.
  • Balance risk and opportunities, ensuring that financial objectives are aligned with the company's strategic vision.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Leader or in a similar role, ideally within the IT, Telecoms, MSP, or Security sectors.
  • A deep understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and regulations in the UK.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while delivering strong financial results.
