Job Title: Residential Deputy Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Deputy Manager to join our team at Area Camden. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the service, including supervising and monitoring care delivery.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans for each young person, ensuring their individual needs are met and their rights are respected.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in residential childcare, with a strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding principles.
  • Hold a Level Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.
  • Excellent leadership and staff supervision skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with young people, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to manage budgets and staff rotas, with a strong focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
