Job Title: Head of Data Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our data services team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in data engineering and reporting, with a focus on enterprise-level data products, including data lakes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data products and analytics services aligned with our business and technology strategy.
  • Lead a team of data specialists to deliver new data products and services, and maintain and improve existing ones.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define and deliver data products and services.
  • Manage a diverse and remote delivery team.
  • Communicate effectively with senior-level stakeholders in technology and business teams.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in data and analytics, and/or extensive engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience developing data products, working in data lakes, and/or building analytics capabilities in PowerBI.
  • Extensive experience in the Microsoft stack, including Azure, Synapse, Data Bricks, PowerBI, Power Platform, etc.
  • Knowledge of digital technologies, with an eye toward the continual change in technology, including AI, RPA, etc.
  • Experience developing products and services through a software development lifecycle that leverages agile principles.
  • Ability to manage a diverse and remote delivery team.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and project/program leadership skills.
