About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services. As an Infrastructure Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd line technical support to our server estate, including Windows 2022/2019/2016/2012.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and support to our server estate, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Active Directory and Group Policy Management: Manage Active Directory, group policy, and user management to ensure seamless access to our systems and applications.
  • Deployment and Management: Manage deployments of new and updated applications and operating systems, ensuring minimal disruption to our services.
  • Change, Problem, Incident, and Release Management: Use our change, problem, incident, and release management toolset to ensure that all changes are properly documented and approved.
  • Server Hardening and Security: Implement server hardening and security measures to protect our systems and data from vulnerabilities and threats.
  • ITIL Processes: Follow ITIL processes to ensure that all technical support activities are properly documented and tracked.
  • Training and Mentoring: Provide training and mentoring to other technical resources to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Antivirus and Security Tools: Manage antivirus and security tools to ensure that our systems and data are protected from malware and other threats.
  • BMC Monitoring: Monitor our systems and applications using BMC monitoring tools to ensure that they are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Hardware and Server Configuration: Configure and manage hardware and servers to ensure that they are properly set up and running smoothly.
Requirements
  • Experience with Windows Server: Experience with Windows Server 2022/2019/2016/2012.
  • Active Directory and Group Policy Management: Experience with Active Directory, group policy, and user management.
  • Deployment and Management: Experience with deploying and managing new and updated applications and operating systems.
  • Change, Problem, Incident, and Release Management: Experience with using change, problem, incident, and release management toolsets.
