Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Support System Engineer to join our team at Prodapt. As a key member of our OSS Operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and customer focus, ensuring that relevant parties are kept informed throughout any engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support for the OSS applications, manage the resolution of fault tickets, and perform general administration duties as required.
  • Problem Resolution: Carry out the resolution of fault tickets and application administration where required on the OSS estate, working with other IT teams to develop standard fixes for use by 1st line support and front line colleagues.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively manage the applications supported to increase the reliability and quality of the services delivered, including reducing fault volumes, impact, and Mean Time To Resolve (MTTR).
  • Documentation and Compliance: Create, review, and modify documentation within the documentation library to comply with relevant standards, ensuring management of licence compliance, IT system security, patching, and capacity management.
  • Customer Projects: Participate in customer-related projects, including onboarding devices onto StableNet, device discovery, configuring monitoring datapoints, setting alerts, and report creation.
  • Support and Collaboration: Support the Programme Team in managing the network infrastructure as it is implemented and transitioned to Early Life Support, working collaboratively with other teams to ensure seamless delivery.

  • BPSS clearance level required (can be obtained when in the role)
