Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse to join our dynamic Haemodialysis Team at York Renal Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading by example, and contributing to the development of our clinical practice.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide visible clinical leadership to the team, ensuring excellent clinical quality standards are consistently met.
  • Support the delivery of high-quality, effective, and evidence-based care, focusing on patient experience, patient safety, and standards compliance.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to drive service improvement and development, creating an inspirational learning and working environment.
  • Take charge in challenging circumstances, supporting junior colleagues, and demonstrating assertiveness, flexibility, and resilience.
  • Participate in the on-call service as required, demonstrating a commitment to the team and the organization.
