Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Support Assistant to provide tailored assistance to an individual diagnosed with Autism. This role is crucial in facilitating effective communication and supporting daily administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including letter writing and general communication support.
  • Provide guidance with budgeting and financial management.
  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers.
  • Support in finding and maintaining paid employment, including interview preparation.
  • Offer emotional support and advocacy as needed.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum.
  • Non-smoker.
  • Access to a personal vehicle; mileage will be reimbursed for specific tasks.

Location:
Staple Hill, Bristol

Working Hours:
3 hours per week, scheduled for either Monday or Tuesday mornings between 9 AM and 12 PM.

Compensation:
£11.88 per hour.

Benefits:
5.6 weeks of holiday per year, including bank holidays (pro-rated for part-time).

Additional Information:
This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check, which will be funded by the employer. Please note that the successful candidate will be directly employed by the individual requiring support.
