Job Summary

Lionsgate Contractors is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of our Health and Safety Policy and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive Health and Safety Policy that meets the needs of our organization.
  • Compliance: Ensure that our organization meets all Health and Safety regulations and standards, including those related to documentation, training, and qualifications.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with Directors and Senior Managers to ensure that they are aware of all Health and Safety obligations and events.
  • Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to assess Health and Safety risks and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Improvement Initiatives: Identify and implement safety improvements to reduce risks and improve overall Health and Safety performance.
  • Accreditation Management: Maintain and renew all necessary accreditations and certifications.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Health and Safety management in a Civil Engineering environment.
  • Skills: Proficient in creating and implementing Health and Safety practices and documents.
  • Assessment: Experienced in evaluating Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Safe Working Methods.
  • Qualifications: NEBOSH NCRQ/NVQ Level 5 IOSH (essential).
