As a leading construction contractor, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional results while maintaining the highest standards of safety. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for all our employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and industry best practices.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and method statements to identify potential hazards and implement effective control measures.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on health and safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety awareness.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and corrective actions, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Collaborate with project managers and site teams to integrate health and safety considerations into all aspects of construction operations.
- Stay abreast of evolving health and safety regulations and industry standards, recommending updates and improvements as needed.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Health & Safety Management role within the Civil Engineering sector.
- Proven expertise in developing and implementing HSE practices and documentation.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, safe working procedures, and relevant legislation.
- NEBOSH, NCRQ/NVQ Level 5+, or IOSH qualification is essential.
