Lionsgate Contractors, a leading Civil Engineering Company, seeks a Health and Safety Manager to oversee the effectiveness of their Health and Safety Policy.
Key Responsibilities- Policy Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive Health and Safety Policy, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.
- Documentation: Create and maintain HSE-required documents, including Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Safe Working Methods.
- Compliance: Ensure the company meets all Health and Safety documentation, training, and qualification needs.
- Communication: Keep Directors and Senior Managers updated on statutory obligations and health and welfare events.
- Site Visits: Conduct formal H&S assessments during site visits, identifying areas for improvement.
- Improvements: Recommend and implement safety improvements, enhancing the company's Health and Safety performance.
- BMS Narrative: Assist in developing processes to comply with ISO updates and document maintenance.
- Accreditations: Maintain and renew necessary accreditations, ensuring the company's reputation and compliance.
As a Health and Safety Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile UK engineering projects, joining a leading construction contractor with extensive experience.
Requirements- Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in Health and Safety management in Civil Engineering.
- Skills: Proficient in creating and implementing HSE practices and documents.
- Assessment: Experienced in evaluating Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Safe Working Methods.
- Qualifications: NEBOSH NCRQ/NVQ Level 5 IOSH (essential).
