We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Specialist to join our team at Connectment. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective HSE policies, procedures, and programs to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE procedures and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety-related initiatives and projects.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
- NEBOSH Diploma or higher in HSE or a related field.
- Proven experience in HSE management, preferably in a construction or utilities industry.
- Strong knowledge of CDM and environmental legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
- NEBOSH Construction/ H&S Certificate.
- Experience in developing and implementing KPIs and targets.
- First aid at work certification.
- Full driving license.
