Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective health, safety, and environmental management systems to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on health, safety, and environmental procedures and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety protocols and procedures.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of health, safety, and environmental data and metrics.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices.
- NEBOSH Diploma or higher in Health and Safety or a related field.
- Proven experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably in a construction or utilities setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Access.
- First aid at work certification.
- Full driving license.
