About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Specialist to join our team at Connectment. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, customers, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective HSE policies, procedures, and programs to minimize risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating hazards and improving safety protocols.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety training programs, ensuring all employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their jobs safely.
  • Monitor and analyze HSE performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to enhance overall safety performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HSE-related matters, promoting a culture of safety and responsibility throughout the organization.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH H&S Diploma or higher, or equivalent qualification in a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a HSE role, preferably in a utilities or construction environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective HSE programs, with a strong focus on risk management and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
