Key Responsibilities- Policy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive Health and Safety Policy that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Conduct regular risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Compliance: Ensure the company meets all Health and Safety documentation, training, and qualification needs.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with Directors and Senior Managers on statutory obligations and health and welfare events.
- Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to assess Health and Safety protocols and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Improvement Initiatives: Identify and implement safety improvements to reduce the risk of accidents and injuries.
- Accreditation Management: Maintain and renew necessary accreditations and certifications.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Health and Safety management in Civil Engineering.
- Skills: Proficient in creating and implementing HSE practices and documents.
- Assessment: Experienced in evaluating Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Safe Working Methods.
- Qualifications: NEBOSH NCRQ/NVQ Level 5 IOSH (essential).
