Job Summary

Lionsgate Contractors is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of the company's Health and Safety Policy and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive Health and Safety Policy that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Management: Conduct regular risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Compliance: Ensure the company meets all Health and Safety documentation, training, and qualification needs.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with Directors and Senior Managers on statutory obligations and health and welfare events.
  • Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to assess Health and Safety protocols and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Improvement Initiatives: Identify and implement safety improvements to reduce the risk of accidents and injuries.
  • Accreditation Management: Maintain and renew necessary accreditations and certifications.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Health and Safety management in Civil Engineering.
  • Skills: Proficient in creating and implementing HSE practices and documents.
  • Assessment: Experienced in evaluating Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Safe Working Methods.
  • Qualifications: NEBOSH NCRQ/NVQ Level 5 IOSH (essential).
