Key Responsibilities- Policy Development: Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date health and safety documentation, including risk assessments and method statements.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure the company meets all relevant health and safety legislation and regulations, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Communication and Training: Provide regular health and safety training and updates to employees, and communicate health and safety information to stakeholders.
- Site Visits and Audits: Conduct regular site visits and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Improvement and Innovation: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement new health and safety initiatives.
- Accreditation and Certification: Maintain and renew necessary health and safety accreditations and certifications.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in health and safety management in a civil engineering or construction environment.
- Qualifications: NEBOSH NCRQ/NVQ Level 5 or equivalent, and IOSH certification.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
