Job Summary

Lionsgate Contractors is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date health and safety documentation, including risk assessments and method statements.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure the company meets all relevant health and safety legislation and regulations, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Communication and Training: Provide regular health and safety training and updates to employees, and communicate health and safety information to stakeholders.
  • Site Visits and Audits: Conduct regular site visits and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Improvement and Innovation: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement new health and safety initiatives.
  • Accreditation and Certification: Maintain and renew necessary health and safety accreditations and certifications.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in health and safety management in a civil engineering or construction environment.
  • Qualifications: NEBOSH NCRQ/NVQ Level 5 or equivalent, and IOSH certification.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
