Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees, clients, and contractors on our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive health and safety policy that meets the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 and other relevant legislation.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor and assess the health and safety performance of our projects.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with our projects, including the development of risk assessments and method statements.
  • Provide training and guidance to our employees and contractors on health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with our project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that health and safety is integrated into all aspects of our projects.

Requirements

  • NEBOSH Qualification (or equivalent)
  • NCRQ / NVQ Level 5 and above (or equivalent)
  • IOSH Certification (or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years of experience in a health and safety role, preferably in the construction industry.
