Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees, clients, and contractors on our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive health and safety policy that meets the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 and other relevant legislation.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor and assess the health and safety performance of our projects.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with our projects, including the development of risk assessments and method statements.
- Provide training and guidance to our employees and contractors on health and safety procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with our project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that health and safety is integrated into all aspects of our projects.
Requirements
- NEBOSH Qualification (or equivalent)
- NCRQ / NVQ Level 5 and above (or equivalent)
- IOSH Certification (or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of experience in a health and safety role, preferably in the construction industry.
