Financial Administrator

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our client's business on a part-time, permanent basis. This role will be worked over 4 days a week, amounting to 28 hours, and will be based in their offices or on a hybrid basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage bank accounts for the group's businesses
- Run and manage payroll
- Prepare VAT and Corporation returns
- Prepare and process group payment runs
- Handle purchase/sales invoices from external clients
- Prepare year-end accounts for auditing
- Work alongside external accountants to ensure all liability is met for the group
- Liaise with HMRC for all businesses
- Implement and manage a new finance system to streamline the group's financial data
- Issue weekly cash position reports
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate previous accounts experience in a similar role. They will be highly organized, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team.
