About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at Acorn Insurance and Financial Services Limited.

As a Financial Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our financial operations team by providing administrative assistance, processing financial transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Transaction Processing: Assist in processing online electronic banking, setting up and maintaining installment plans, and posting and allocating receipts.
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including bordereaux of payments to suppliers and accounts reconciliation.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by responding to payment queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the financial operations team, including preparing reports and maintaining spreadsheets.
Requirements
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish effective working relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of numeracy and literacy competence, with attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, with experience in using financial software and systems.
  • Time Management: Ability to work to strict deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
