About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to join our team at Acorn Insurance & Financial Services LTD. As a key member of our Financial-Operations Department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our team and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Data Management: Provide a detailed bordereaux of Payments to all suppliers, assist in processing online electronic banking, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
  • Financial Analysis: Identify and analyze payment errors, and provide detailed communications of all payments to stakeholders.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheets recording all debt recovery activity, and provide regular financial reports to management.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for any financial queries, and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Support: Assist in the recovery process, banking cheques, and other ad-hoc responsibilities as required.
Requirements
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Establish effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain high levels of numeracy and literary competence, and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, with experience in working with financial software and systems.
