Financial Operations Manager

£60,000 - £70,000 + Bonus

Nick Buick Associates, a leading construction group based in Kent, is expanding its finance team with a Financial Operations Manager position. This role reports to the Financial Controller and involves business partnering across all teams to ensure budgets are adhered to and costs to complete are allowed for.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Financial Controller in producing accurate and informed Cash Flow Forecasts for schemes under development
  • Maintaining scheme-wide Appraisals, including reconciliations to monthly management accounts
  • Ownership of Weekly Cashflow Forecast
  • Assisting with the preparation of finance schedules for inclusion in Board Packs
  • Annual Budget setting process, including 5-year forecasts, overhead projections
  • Monthly preparation of Management Accounts; balance sheet, fixed assets
  • Production and submission of statutory filings, including VAT and CIS returns
  • Reviewing and approving payment runs prepared by the Accounts Payable team
  • Assisting in the year-end audit, including preparation of audit schedules and reviewing draft financial statements

  • 1-2 years' post qualified experience (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
