We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our client's business on a part-time, permanent basis. This role will be worked over 2 days a week, amounting to 16 hours. Initially based from home until offices in Sevenoaks are complete.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage bank accounts for the group's businesses
- Run and manage payroll
- Prepare VAT & Corporation returns
- Prepare and process group payment runs
- Handle purchase/sales invoices from external clients
- Prepare year-end accounts for auditing
- Work alongside external accountants to ensure all liability is met for the group
- Liaise with HMRC for all businesses
- Implement and manage a new finance system to streamline the group financial data
- Issue weekly cash position reports
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate previous accounts experience in a similar role and have the ability to work autonomously from a home office environment.
