Job Title: Director for Quality

The University of East Anglia (UEA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our Climate Change Research Centre. As a renowned expert in the field, you will be responsible for driving our research agenda and ensuring that our work has a significant impact on national and international climate change policy.

About the Role

We are looking for a Director who can exploit funding opportunities and appreciate the Centre's contribution to climate change policy. You will be responsible for leading a team of researchers and working closely with our partners to deliver high-quality research that addresses the challenges of climate change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Climate Change Research Centre and develop a research agenda that aligns with the Centre's goals and objectives
  • Secure funding for research projects and collaborations
  • Work closely with our partners to deliver high-quality research that addresses the challenges of climate change
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and other research institutions
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Centre and its staff
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong track record of research leadership and a deep understanding of climate change policy. You will also need to be able to communicate complex research findings to a variety of audiences and work effectively in a team environment.
