Deputy Medical Director

About the Role:
The Deputy Medical Director (Quality, Safety and Clinical Transformation) will provide senior medical leadership for patient safety, clinical governance, and mortality surveillance. This role will work closely with clinical leads, associate medical directors, and stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Director of Transformation in leading engagement with clinical colleagues to implement transformation projects that positively impact clinical service delivery and patient pathways.
- Be a key member of the Digital Transformation Committee to review and improve clinical systems and processes across the organisation.
- Take strategic responsibility for clinical service, policy development, and implementation, particularly relating to national or regional initiatives.
- Provide clinical oversight and strategic leadership for National Safety Standards for Invasive Procedures (NatSSIPs) guidance.
