About the Role

The University of East Anglia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research. As a leading Centre of excellence and authority on climate change policy, you will contribute meaningfully and regularly to relevant national and international debate.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of exploiting funding opportunities and an instinctive appreciation of the Centre's contribution to national and international climate change policy. You will be responsible for leading the Centre's research and policy engagement, and for developing and implementing strategies to advance the Centre's mission and goals.

The Tyndall Centre is a partnership of Institutes in the Universities of Cardiff, Manchester, Southampton, and Newcastle, and includes a growing group of affiliated researchers at other institutions. The Centre conducts high-quality and integrated climate change research in support of UK and international climate change policy.

We are looking for a Director who is passionate about climate change research and policy, and who has a strong vision for the future of the Centre.
