Job Summary

Accountable Recruitment is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. As a proactive Finance Business Partner, you will provide support, challenge, and insights to Operations Managers, delivering timely, accurate, and relevant financial information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to Operations Managers, providing financial guidance and support to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Deliver high-quality financial information, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with Operations teams to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including Operations Managers and Financial Controller.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of business cases, including capital expenditure proposals.
  • Oversee the production of monthly Management Accounts and participate in Monthly Review Meetings.

Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with experience in an operationally focused role.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills at all levels, with a self-starter attitude and enthusiasm for continuous improvement.
  • Organized approach with the ability to manage multiple outputs and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work with external advisers and preferred experience in Logistics or Distribution industries.
  • Full clean driving license required.
