Finance Business Partner
Location: London - Liverpool, Hybrid Working, 3 days a week on site
Compensation: £60,000 - £70,000, plus Bonus
The Consultancy Group is collaborating with a prominent Global Facilities Management and Hospitality organization in search of an exceptional Finance Business Partner. This esteemed brand is recognized for its outstanding work culture, and you will be part of a high-achieving Finance team. Your role will involve daily collaboration with Senior Leadership teams, providing significant visibility at the executive level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Oversee and nurture a team of three professionals.
- Business Collaboration: Engage with Senior Leaders and Heads of Departments.
- Operational Collaboration: Partner with the Head of Operations and Fulfilment Centre leadership to analyze metrics, report insights, and implement strategies for enhanced outcomes.
- Month-End Management: Guarantee precise and timely execution of month-end procedures, including purchase order and invoice oversight, postings, accurate accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Performance Analysis: Communicate monthly performance metrics and variance analysis aligned with operational KPIs. Lead monthly review discussions, addressing potential risks and opportunities.
- Financial Planning: Assume responsibility for monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-term planning cycles.
- Cost Efficiency: Collaborate with Logistics and Customer Service teams to enhance cost efficiency, improve service speed, and assist with ad hoc analyses and project initiatives.
- Cross-Departmental Relationship Management: Cultivate relationships with various teams, including Brands and Accounts Payable.
- Continuous Process Improvement: Propel enhancements across financial processes and reporting to improve speed, accuracy, and quality.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Educational Background: Fully qualified in Accounting or Finance with relevant experience.
- Proactive Attitude: A self-motivated individual who excels in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data in diverse formats.
- Communication Proficiency: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Deadline Management: Capable of meeting deadlines, managing multiple priorities, and applying a disciplined, logical approach to problem-solving.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel. Familiarity with Oracle, Hyperion, and Qlik systems is advantageous.
