Role Overview

In the capacity of Financial Management Specialist, you will be tasked with preparing monthly management accounts for several business entities, supported by a finance assistant.

Your responsibilities will encompass bank reconciliations, control accounts, and account production. You will oversee VAT returns and other submissions to external entities such as funding organizations.

The organization engages in significant capital projects, and this role will involve extensive reporting on funding and expenditures related to these initiatives.

You will collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of these essential projects.

You will ensure accurate balance sheet values for inventory and other assets, utilizing your financial accounting expertise to report them in accordance with accounting standards.

Qualifications for Success
Candidates should be qualified accountants with substantial experience in management or financial accounting. If you are currently employed in a small to medium-sized enterprise and seek to transition to a larger, more complex organization, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
