About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Audit Manager to join our team at Michael Page Finance. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring the highest level of service is provided at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively manage a portfolio of clients, maintaining regular communication with them throughout the year.
- Provide advice and assistance to clients, developing and providing solutions for them.
- Take the lead on complex client assignments, demonstrating technical ability, accuracy, and problem-solving.
- Maintain control of work in progress, raising invoices on a regular and timely basis.
- Continue to develop areas of specialism, such as financial services, corporate finance, or tax advisory.
- Lead, manage, and motivate the audit team through the management structure.
- Ensure all team members understand their roles and expectations, ensuring appraisals are conducted in line with set firm requirements.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in an audit manager role (circa 3 years minimum).
- Background in a mid-tier practice or a Big Four firm.
- General experience of managing a broad range of clients across differing sectors.
- Experience and ability to lead and manage an audit team effectively.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Good relationship-building skills, ideally with an established network.
- Based in the North West region or willing to relocate.

- Salary: Flexible depending on experience. Rough guide - £55-65k.
