About the Role

Hays Senior Finance is seeking an experienced and diligent Accounts Manager to join their growing team in their Liverpool office. The ideal candidate will have a background in practice and strong IT and technical skills with experience in accounts software. They will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and oversee the accounts team, preparing accounts and reviewing the work of junior members of staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, including limited companies and larger corporations in various industries.
  • Prepare accounts and review the work of junior team members.
  • Work closely with an experienced team of staff and have opportunities for professional development.
  • Win new work and bring business to the firm.

Requirements

  • Previous experience handling a portfolio of clients and a background in practice.
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience (QBE).
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a proactive attitude.
