Job Role:

As a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and providing individualized attention to young children in a primary school setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Treat each child as an individual, understanding their unique needs and requirements.
  • Motivate and encourage children to participate in activities, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support within the classroom, helping children to reach their full potential.
  • Assist the class teacher with various tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning experience.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, promoting good health and safety practices.
  • Ensure the welfare and safety of children in your care, prioritizing their well-being at all times.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people, adhering to the school's ethos and policies.
  • Contribute to the overall mission and goals of the school, working collaboratively with the teaching team.
Requirements:
  • GCSE English and Maths (A* – C) or equivalent qualifications.
  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in working with children or young people.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably in an EYFS setting.
