Zest Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join the team at a reputable primary school in the UK. This is a full-time position that is available for an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
  • Assisting with the preparation of classroom materials and resources
  • Providing one-to-one support to students with additional learning needs
  • Supervising and supporting students during activities and break times
  • Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a safe learning environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
  • Relevant qualifications in Education or Childcare (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • A genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional development of children

Zest Education Ltd are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

The salary for this position is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.

This role is for temporary supply work.
