Job Title: Social Worker: Assessment and Support

We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our team in East Staffordshire, working with children and families to provide assessment and support services.

About the Role

As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for completing statutory duties, including coordinating child plans, reviewing and ensuring children are seen and heard. You will also undertake section 47 investigations, placement of children into Local Authority care, and complete private and public law reports.

You will work closely with colleagues in Early Help, Children in Care, and Care Leavers and Children with Disabilities Team, as well as health and education professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete statutory duties, including coordinating child plans and reviewing children's needs
  • Undertake section 47 investigations and placement of children into Local Authority care
  • Complete private and public law reports
  • Refer children and families to centralised services for specialist support
Requirements
  • Qualified Social Worker
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Current UK driving licence and vehicle
