Behavioural Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioural Support Worker to join our team at an Alternative Provision in Lichfield. The successful candidate will have experience working with young people with social emotional mental health/emotional behavioural difficulties.
The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of the national curriculum, the initiative to deliver fun and engaging support in class, and the ability to build good relationships with staff and pupils. They will also be able to deal with challenging behaviour and work one-to-one with students.

As a Behavioural Support Worker, you will be part of a dedicated team that provides a supportive and inclusive environment for students with social emotional mental health and behavioural needs. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualised learning plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality support to students with social emotional mental health and behavioural needs
- Develop and implement individualised learning plans that cater to the unique needs of each student
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
- Provide one-to-one support to students as needed
- Contribute to the development and implementation of behaviour management strategies
Requirements:
- Experience working with young people with social emotional mental health/emotional behavioural difficulties
- Good knowledge of the national curriculum
- Ability to build good relationships with staff and pupils
- Ability to deal with challenging behaviour
- Ability to work one-to-one with students
