Support Victims of Antisocial Behaviour

Last year, Victim Support provided information and support to 786,574 people affected by crime. As a Service Delivery Volunteer, you will play a vital role in providing specialist support services to those in need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with victims of antisocial behaviour, offering support and information, and signposting to other partner agencies and resources.
  • Develop skills in working with vulnerable people and gain experience in a team environment.
  • Collaborate with the police, council, housing teams, and other social landlords to provide comprehensive support.
  • Attend events to promote the service and raise awareness about the importance of support for victims of crime.
What We Ask of You:
  • Be 18 years of age or over.
  • Volunteer for at least 3 hours per week, for at least 12 months.
  • Undertake training over a 10-week period, including virtual training days and online learning modules.
  • Undergo a DBS check and be part of the DBS update service.
  • Provide two satisfactory references.
  • Have an active email address for communication with Victim Support.
