ACCOUNTS CLERK

WORKING DAYS:

£12.60 PER HOUR
People Solutions is seeking an Accounts Clerk to join our client's team in West Bromwich.

This position offers a starting wage of £12.60 per hour, with the potential for a permanent role after successfully completing 13 weeks of service.

Key Responsibilities:
The Accounts Clerk will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Assisting the Finance team with Accounts Payable functions
- Managing general cash flow, including banking and related inquiries
- Providing administrative support to Management Accountants
- Recording and organizing cash transactions
- Sharing responsibilities for Accounts Receivable and ensuring timely communication
- Aiding in month-end financial processes as needed
- Performing any other reasonable tasks as requested by the Manager/Supervisor
Essential Qualifications:
To qualify for this Accounts Clerk position, candidates should have:
- A solid grasp of financial systems and processes
- Strong analytical abilities to assess financial data and provide insights
- Proficient IT skills with the capability to navigate multiple systems
- Keen attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate within a team environment
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
Desirable Experience:
While prior experience as an Accounts Clerk is preferred, it is not mandatory.
Training:
Comprehensive training on company policies and procedures will be provided by the employer.
