Job Description

Brammer Buck & Hickman is a leading industrial maintenance and distribution network in Europe, with a turnover of €3 billion and operations in 23 countries. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting of weekly and monthly costs, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
  • Updating bank records daily, weekly, and monthly, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintaining and managing accounts payable end-to-end process, ensuring seamless payment processing and reconciliation.
  • Processing invoices through the appropriate workflow, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinating weekly and monthly payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.
  • Reconciling monthly statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues.
  • Dealing with subcontractor invoices, ensuring prompt and accurate payment processing.
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding payments, purchase orders, and invoices, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring smooth communication.
  • Ensuring the upkeep and accuracy of financial spreadsheets, providing valuable insights and support to the finance team.
  • Providing administrative support to the Finance Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and efficient financial management.
Requirements
  • Secondary school education.
  • NVQ Level 2 in administration or similar.
  • AAT desirable but not essential.
  • General office or administration experience.
