We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our finance team at Brammer Buck & Hickman. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our accounts payable process, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting of weekly and monthly costs
  • Updating bank records daily, weekly, and monthly
  • Maintaining and managing accounts payable end-to-end process
  • Processing invoices through the appropriate workflow
  • Weekly and monthly payment runs
  • Reconciling monthly statements
  • Dealing with subcontractor invoices
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding payments, POs, and invoices
  • Ensuring the upkeep and accuracy of financial spreadsheets
  • Supporting the Finance Manager

Requirements:

  • Secondary school education
  • NVQ Level 2 in administration or similar
  • AAT desirable but not essential
  • General office or administration experience
