We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our finance team at Brammer Buck & Hickman. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our accounts payable process, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:- Reporting of weekly and monthly costs
- Updating bank records daily, weekly, and monthly
- Maintaining and managing accounts payable end-to-end process
- Processing invoices through the appropriate workflow
- Weekly and monthly payment runs
- Reconciling monthly statements
- Dealing with subcontractor invoices
- Liaising with suppliers regarding payments, POs, and invoices
- Ensuring the upkeep and accuracy of financial spreadsheets
- Supporting the Finance Manager
Requirements:
- Secondary school education
- NVQ Level 2 in administration or similar
- AAT desirable but not essential
- General office or administration experience
