About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Mise en Place as a Restaurant Operations Director, where you will play a key role in driving the success of our close-knit, family-style run restaurant group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting directly to the Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurants, ensuring seamless execution of our business strategies.
  • With a strong background in restaurant management, you will be expected to motivate and drive successful teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • You will be responsible for implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring that our restaurants are consistently delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
  • As a trusted leader, you will be the face of our restaurants, providing guidance and support to our staff to ensure their success.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a single or multiple site/reputable brand as a General Manager role is essential.
  • Great communication skills, with the ability to motivate and drive successful teams, are a must.
  • A love for food and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service are essential.
  • Ability to work autonomously, with a self-driven approach, is required.
  • Experience of working in Australia is preferred, but not essential.
  • Reporting directly to the Owner, you will be responsible for developing your own schedule, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
  • Experience working in an Antipodean all-day dining environment would be a bonus, but we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and bring new life to our team.

  • A competitive salary of £60-70k basic p.a., with a £20k bonus upon deliverables being met, paid monthly.
