We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Restaurant Operations Director to join our team at La Mia Mamma. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurants, ensuring consistently high-quality service, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity across the restaurant group.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas of improvement and actively work with the operational team to implement corrective measures.
- Establish clear performance objectives and conduct periodic performance evaluations for all team members.
- Oversee the preparation and implementation of all operational aspects, including staffing, equipment, inventory, and general setup.
- Financial Management
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service across all sites.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety protocols and licensing regulations.
- Sound financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and cost control.
- Leadership and Team Management
- Mentor and guide your team, building a collaborative and supportive workplace.
- An individual who can see a vision and commit to something long term, leading autonomously while working closely with the founder to deliver their vision.
Requirements
- Currently in a director/head of operations role in a restaurant business.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership, supporting a midsize business scale up and expand.
- Strong systems and process knowledge as well as great food knowledge.
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
