The Role of a Charity Fundraising Executive

As a Charity Fundraising Executive, you will be employed by Charity Link on a permanent basis, with options for full-time or part-time work. Enjoy a guaranteed base salary, providing you with a stable income while offering opportunities for additional earnings.

This position is vital in transforming lives through your efforts.


You will represent our charity partners, engaging with the public to secure their support through regular monthly donations or lottery sign-ups.


Fundraising activities will occur at various events, including shows, superstores, town centers, and shopping areas. Our dedicated in-house venues team will pre-book these locations to maximize your potential for securing donors during your shifts.


Your working hours will vary based on the venues, and you should aim to be present during peak footfall times, which may require flexibility, especially during evenings.


All necessary charity-branded materials and equipment will be provided, including stands, tables, and an electronic tablet for donor sign-ups.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A positive demeanor and a strong work ethic, with motivation to meet and exceed targets.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, such as sales or customer service.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to engage with the public and establish rapport.
  • A willingness to work on weekends, as these are peak times for securing donations.
  • A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • The ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • A passion for advocating for the charity you represent.
