We are on the lookout for a Duty Officer to manage the daily functions of our recreation facility. In this position, you will collaborate closely with the leadership team to maintain exceptional service standards and guide a team of Lifeguards.
The successful candidate will possess outstanding communication abilities. While experience in the leisure sector is advantageous, we prioritize enthusiasm, flexibility, and the capacity to navigate diverse challenges effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Possess a valid RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
- Inspire and lead operational personnel
- Supervise the everyday operations and activities of the recreation facility
- Contribute to the facility's overall performance and financial management
- Actively participate as a member of the recreation team
- Show a commitment to ongoing professional development
- Employ problem-solving skills, customer service expertise, and staff leadership strategies
- Make independent decisions and respond adeptly to various challenges
